    Anyway yeah she tole me the same thing. I guess I'll go to their orientation on the 24th if I'm in town. She told me too, that even though I attend mcfatters that I have to go to theirs also. Why? I don't know. And she said that it's 2 hours long.

    What???? 2 hours???? What the hell! I even waited an hour for her to come back from lunch and she literally talked for 30 seconds and.wouldnt let me speak and that was that. Ughhh ridiculous!

    Same here! I had my daughter with me. We drove all the way there for her to act like that and then talk to me for not even a minute. I was so disgusted.

    Do you guys know what facilites for clinicals? also have you guys taken health career core already?

    No I havent taken core class yet if u havent thats what we do the first 3 weeks of school. And as far as clinicals mcfatter goes to 2 nursing homes in tamarac. Not sure if they go to a hospital later on or not

    My friend went to Atlantic and did hospital rotation at west side regional hospital. And some nursing homes and kids psych hospital in Tamarac somewhere I believe.

    Ok I may be wrong about this but look into it. I had taken health career core as it was needed for Broward. I took it online thru sheridan, you only need to go in for CPR which i already had so did not need to go to the school. The cost was about $270. However those same classes with exception of CPR are offered thru ceufast.com for $30!!!! unlimited classes and exam. Thats one of the places mcfatter told me students use for their ceu's. I checked on here and people from broward take their classes thru them as well. Wish i had known this before.

    I wonder if I can skip core. I'm a cna, but my CPR is expired. I need to renew.

    I remember someone asking that question. If your license is in Fl, you would qualify for advanced standing; if its from another state she would have to look into it. Email her to make sure.

    Yeah it's in Florida. Email the counselor? I was thinking of puttinga copy of my cna license in the application packet, but didn't know if I was allowed.
