    No financial aid does not pay for anything except the class. Idid not buy any books yet my friend said wait until the first day. I'm just going to buy them as they're needed. We dd get a book list though with prices. Just for CORE you'll be spending $200 for the books and Manuel's for block 1 - around $260 block 2 - around $280 block 3 - $140 uniforms $20 for top and $12 for bottom lab coat is $25 and all the other clinical supplies are less than $10. She told me you'll eventually get a left over check which would be paying u back for buying all of the books. (If u get financial aid) my first day is mondayiwill let U know

    Yeah at Atlantic they told me the same thing. That aid didn't cover books. And to just pay for them and my leftover check would reimburse me. *rolleyes* thanks for the info! The books are not as expensive as I thought.

    Went to register today. First and second blocks tuition is $2775. Not including books. The lady was so nice in financial aid. They'll pay for my core books for me. And give me a book voucher.

    I'm so cheap, so my friend who just graduated from Atlantic is letting me borrow her textbooks. The must expensive ones like the fundamentals and the anatomy book.

    I have a stethoscope already. I think I'll use my own. My friend is even giving me her uniforms so I won't have to buy them. We're the same size. I'll bring all of the books and uniforms to the school to see if its what they're using now just in case.

    Registration is on the 26th. Financial aid said be there bright and early. Because its first come first served and I could possibly lose my seat. Them why even pass out letters? She said be to the school early because ppl wait in the parking lot to register. She said its not a game. Lol

    Omg lol on registration day at mcfatter u wouldn't even know I feel like I was the only one who registered lol and we didn't pay for block 2 yet just block 1 and that's good that they'll pay for the core books I'm borrowing that from my friend and I already have her bad book (body structure and function) and I ordered my stethoscope a few weeks ago. I heard the schools sucks and u won't pass ur tests cause I can't hear. I mean u do get what u pay for its only $11 at school. I ordered a littman. I'm so excited I still don't have my hubby's tax transcripts but they let me slide cause I showed them proof that he filed so thank god they were super nice! My friend said core is 20 days and we have 22 tests within that time frame!! It's goin to be a crazy first few weeks! I won't start clinicals until January probably but I can't wait! I got my Atlantic letter it says u have to be dressed in uniform with all ur books first day that's cool! We don't wear uniforms until after core I wanna wear them the first day

    22 tests?! Omg! When I read the letter from Atlantic I was like wow. They Are serious. Uniforms and books the first day?! Lol

    I see a student who's currently a student at mcfatter is selling their fundamental book for $80 if you're interested.

    I know it's crazy! So nervous and thank u I appreciate age it although ill probably be using my friends books. Do u guys have another orientation? I don't remember seeing it in the letter. If so when is it?

    No. They do it different from mcfatter. They go through policy and uniform talk BEFORE you get accepted. And of course I never went to their orientation so they gave me a quick run through. Uniforms are now all purple so I can't use my friends old uniform. I'm getting more nervous as the days go. Lol
