I am hearing that HR in the hospitals here in Bradenton and Sarasota say that there are no more new graduate positions available at this time. Does anyone know when they will be in the future and how do you apply for these new graduate positions in the area? Any insight would be great!

  4. I do know that aside from the big university hospitals the others have shut down their new grad programs for 2012 and 2013 doesn't look too promising either.

THank you for the reply. Does anyone have any advice on where I could start as a new graduate? I have 3 years of Nursing assistant and medical technician. Also so when applying on applications it says 1 year of acute care experience. Do you know if they are refering to RN or can it be 1 year as a CNA?
    Thanks
  6. I would assume they are talking about RN experience. My advice? Apply everywhere and sell yourself as if you were mother theresa incarnate.

  7. Thank you, I am applying everywhere, even to the positions that ask for 1 year.
