by crstory4 Aug 8, '12I am hearing that HR in the hospitals here in Bradenton and Sarasota say that there are no more new graduate positions available at this time. Does anyone know when they will be in the future and how do you apply for these new graduate positions in the area? Any insight would be great!

- Aug 8, '12 by itsnoworneverI do know that aside from the big university hospitals the others have shut down their new grad programs for 2012 and 2013 doesn't look too promising either.
- Aug 13, '12 by crstory4Quote from itsnoworneverTHank you for the reply. Does anyone have any advice on where I could start as a new graduate? I have 3 years of Nursing assistant and medical technician. Also so when applying on applications it says 1 year of acute care experience. Do you know if they are refering to RN or can it be 1 year as a CNA?I do know that aside from the big university hospitals the others have shut down their new grad programs for 2012 and 2013 doesn't look too promising either.
Thanks - Aug 14, '12 by itsnoworneverI would assume they are talking about RN experience. My advice? Apply everywhere and sell yourself as if you were mother theresa incarnate.SeriouslyRadN and scuba-girl like this.
