I was wondering if anyone is starting in the May term with this school? I got accepted and I'm hoping I'm not the only one lol.

It's suppose to be a class of max 18. We're the first RN class for the school. Anyways, if anyone has questions about applying feel free to message me!

Do NOT GO THERE! They are a bunch of conartists. That's the same company that owns Dade Medical College. They are not accredited with NLN they are only are APPROVED by the board of nursing. You can't transfer their credits only to Nova or may be Barry. I know this because I went to Dade Medical and it was so hard for me to continue my education, also most Miami hospitals won't hire anyone that went there unless you know someone. I had to got my job out of Miami where no one knows about that horrible school. I would suggest you look else where that is cheaper and accredited. And I say this because a CNO of a company that use to allow Dade Medical students to do clinical s there told me to get Dade Medical off my résumé as soon as possible. And basically why I wasn't hired.

    Omg! Thanks for the info!

She did mention that they were associated with Dade Medical but that they were different? Their price is so cheap! She mentioned that they were not regionally accredited or with the NLNAC, but she said it was because its their first class to start. I did all my prereqs so it's only 11k for the entire program for me.

I do want to get hired once I get out of school though *sigh*

Don't believe them at all. I was told by the time we were to graduate Dade medical would be accredited, 100% pass rate in homestead campus and still no accreditation and most of the other campuses are on probation. Cheap or not save your money and go to an accredited school, whose transcripts can transfer and be used. And the people they aren't accredited with are vital for your degree. Seriously do not do it, as cheap as they are you will have a huge consequence to pay for in the long run. Dade medical and this so say "university" have the same exact owner. Matter a fact the DON over at that "university" was at my pinning ceremony so how different are they? I have $24,000 of loans to pay plus to the school. I wanna save anyone from having to have pay them a red cent.

I started with them and dropped after the second semester. By far the worst decision I ever made. The clinicals are at Westchester Hospital and at Long Term Care facilities. The entire time we had no guidance on what to do. Exams came from things not discussed in class or chapters not discussed in the book. The school isn't accredited so if you don't have an AA, don't expect to further your career as NO school will take you in. After the Dean was fired and our classes changed (and another class added and classes deleted) I went to various state colleges. Both Miami Dade College and FIU said, and I quote, that it is a "joke school" and not even the pre reqs (if you plan on taking them there) will transfer. You would have to start from scratch.

I'm not sure if you know, but the owner of USmF and DMC has a terrible reputation. He's apparently a jailbird and rapist? Also, unless you have connections with someone in the hospital, be prepared to be jobless.

If you do end up going, join the night class. The professor gives you the answers to all tests. If you go in the daytime, be prepared to pass with the minimum or fail the class. From the starting day class (18) only 4 passed. They ended up dropping the minimum down, so 8 passed.

Forgot to mention that the possibility of test out of classes won't be given as the school isn't accredited. Good luck with finding the right school. I suggest trying a state school

When I applied the minimum was 50% on the TEAS V. That's it. I have now been told that you need to take the TEAS but it doesn't matter what you get because they don't have a minimum. You just need to take the exam and have graduated high school or have a GED

Now im positive these two schools are not going to be one of my optiones and thank you so much for responding. I wish u the best of luck on your journey
