Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for everyone that is applying for UCF's BSN program which will begin this Fall, 2012. I think this would be a great place for everyone to share their concerns, nerves about waiting, or questions. :)

So, how is everyone? Which campus are you applying to?

Hey guys! I just found out today that I've been wait listed for the UCF/VC Concurrent program. I'm going crazy trying to get everything settled and completed. Does anyone know how to complete the Health Sciences Program Application?? And does anyone know how I register for the transfer student orientation? Congrats to everyone who got in btw! Hope that I'll be joining you this year! :)

OK- So I taked to Valencia nursing advisor again today. She said that no concurrent student for fall has received the info about immunizations, back ground, etc. She said everyone will receive it at the same time in about a week or so. AM I CRAZY or did you guys say you got it?? If anyone did, in fact, receive the info - can you please tell me what it says about CPR course (is it AHA BLS) what immunizations are needed??? Also, I found out that in addition to the 4 days a week at Valencia (mtwr) We also have class at VCC west for UCF on Friday all day (2 classes and a lab) 8-5. Also, you can take the Valencia classes at either west or Osceola. I am gonna try to get Osceola because I live in ST.Cloud. Anyone else?????

@julierain. They sent out that stuff in an email check the spam folder. It was with the orientation date letter email for vcc. The cpr.course needs to be the one they teach at vcc its $40

Now that the 6th has passed I wonder how many people denied their spot? Hopefully they start informing us waitlisted people next week. With Tuesday being my birthday, it would be a great Birthday gift!!:D

the deadline foe those who got in the vcc/ucf program to accept their spot.

Ohhh right lol , they sent me an email Friday that I was accepted into the program but I'm not sure if I should take it or not because I'm on ucfs basic bsn waiting list and from what I've been told if only a few more students drop out of the program I'll be in so I'm so confused in what I should do !

julierain - If you are getting the info in a week, you'll have time to get things done. The immunizations are mmr, hep b, tdap, and varicella, or the titers. Also will need flu shot. I'm so happy to hear we can choose Osceola campus because I live in St. Cloud too.

I accepted my spot in the concurrent program at Valencia !!! So tired of waiting -_-

Princesspriya11- Congrats!!!! I love this blog....feel like I already know some peeps :) Bella so happy that you'll be at Osceola too! Going to St John Virgin Islands tomorrow....last vacation for a couple of years :) See You guys at orientation on the 20th....not that I have received that info officially yet! I can't believe I still haven't got the packet. She said that if you applied through Valencia then you would have received it but If you went through UCF (like me) then the 20 students from there- have NOT received it and will not until everyone has done what they are suppose to ie. apply to VCC, health science orientation, etc. So basically even though I'm good with my stuff- I have to wait for other people to get on the ball. Uggghhh I hate waiting.
