Two-hour Medical Error Prevention Course Requirement

  1. 0 Good day to everyone!

I am a Filipino graduate nurse who attained an RN license in CA just recently. However, I am into the process of Endorsement to the state of FL. I am about to finish my Endorsement Packet application except for one thing: the Two-hour Medical Error Prevention Course that is required.

Are there any suggestions as to which website do I have to go for me to have the "easiest" or "least hassle" from all the other choices? It would be great if you share your experiences so I'd have an idea of the whole process, even more if you include the price range it cost you.

I'd be very grateful if anyone answers my queries. Thank you so much!

When I was doing my endorsement stuff I did the Med Error course on www.nurse.com Go there, hover over Education and then click on State Required CE. Scroll down to Florida then click on the view courses link. It looks like it now costs $17.00...I believe it was $15 when I did it. But it's all online and it doesn't take the 2 hours that is says it does. It's a great site of CE courses in general. Make sure you create an account. Good luck!

I've been looking for a job there for over a year...I currently live in WI. Without much experience it's pretty tough to get in. I have almost a year experience and I'm still having a tough time. Good Luck!
