I have been in Neuro Trauma ICU for 8 years and relocating to Fort Myers area. I realize that the Florida salaries for staff RN's is much below what I'm making now,:o I'm investigating travel nurse options to hospitals in this area. Has anyone had a good/bad experience with any in particular?

I still can't decide whether to staff or travel. I would appreciate any suggestions? How about Fort Myers area? What are the best neighborhoods for my salary? As you can tell I have lotz of questions, just can't seem to get anywhere on the 'net without actually filling out applications! I filled out one and my phone wouldn't stop ringing with offers in Colorado, Calif, NYC, etc...:uhoh21:

I have been here since 1991. Have worked at all the local hospitals except the Cape. Presently work at Lehigh Regional in ER. Pay sucks at all of them. Have traveled and will return to travel to make the bucks.
