TEAS Dilemma: A Tale of Two Schools

Well, here is my dilemma ...

I am applying to ABSN programs @ UCF and UNF and both schools require the TEAS. However, UNF has specifically stated they only accept version V of the test while UCF is using version 4.0. Naturally, I don't think it is fair that I take two different versions of the TEAS, as I would like to sit for this just once. The way I see it, my only option is to take the version V and hope that UCF accepts that version and the score report for it too. I called the UCF assessment office today and they confirmed that they administer 4.0 at this time, and the person was unsure what the plans were for offering V in the future. She referred me to the nursing admissions office and I left a voicemail for someone to let me know if taking version V would be acceptable for admission to UCF. I will post what the result of that conversation is for anyone that wants to know.

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as I am :(

I just got a calback this morning from UCF. They will accept any version of the TEAS, specifically 3.0, 4.0, or V as long as results show testing in all four categories of Reading, Math, Science and English Language/Usage. Submit a copy of the score report with application.

Dilemma solved! YAY!
