Oh my that's definitely a plus for you. Sounds like your background is great fit. I worked in Psych as a behavior technician. I had to stop work earlier this year to do pre-requisites. I made some general statements and then gave a brief account of nursing myself back to health from cancer and then caring for my aunt who had cancer.

Oh, that's really cool! My mom just beat cancer so I had part of that story in mine too. Definitely changes your perspective on things !

Ok so I took the TEAS again today and I made the exact same score of 85. I am really upset! My science GPA is not that great 3.0 so I am trying to get a higher TEAS score to be more competitive. I have looked at previous posts from other RCON cohorts and they either had very high Science GPA's or high TEAS scores. My science score is the problem so I am just going to focus more on it.

I am surprised that there are not many more prospectives posting here. I wonder how long before we get an email even confirming the receipt of our applications. I really don't want to have to wait till December to start looking for an apartment. I am going to wait 2 weeks before I call them to check on the application. Hopefully we'll here something before the end of the month.

I emailed Melissa Nash and she told me that all of my stuff was turned in on time. She also said that the committee will probably meet on Monday and that decision letters will be sent out next week for early admittance!

Wow that's quick. I am still hung up on my TEAS. I took it 4 years ago and got 91 however the score is too old. I need to make that score again. I have until December if I don't get in this round.

I got an email this morning that said my application was complete and that I'm only missing my final transcript for when I complete the stats class I'm in right now and a phone interview! What does this mean? Does everyone do a phone interview?

Hello lauren_koonce,

I received on as well. Sooo excited!! Yes everyone has to complete a phone interview. If you look at the posts from the July 2014 cohort you will see that they say it's a piece of cake. When will you be done with your Statistics class? I'm sure that they can give you provisional acceptance pending that grade.
