That does help. I have called the school about class hours with no reply! So I went to these boards! I'll just plan on 8-5 and hope for the best! I'm just trying to coordinate after care for a school age child, preschool with full time for a younger child and counting on an ex spouse to cover when daycares can't!

Hey :) I Just sent you a PM with some info in it. I apologize in advance if you already have it.

Hello akwildone,

I'm a senior about to graduate in July. I'm also a single mom. I don't know where you plan to live and have your children go to school, but I have my little one going to Kid's Together which is right up Rhinehart about a mile. I love the school and they have a bus that takes older children to elementary school nearby. So it depends on where you plan to live.

The first quarter is rough. You will need all the support you can get and will lose sleep. Depending on how long ago you had AP, it's very time consuming. The second quarter is easier since you survived the 1st quarter. The third is tougher than the 2nd and the 4th is like the 1st for the first 6weeks. Plan on getting your childcare taken care of. Ex. 3rd quarter may be overnights 7pm to 7am. You can do this. Just make sure you have backup plans for your children. Feel free to PM me as well. Flimfly is one of the most, if not the most, excellent sources for info on Remington. I followed her posts too.

Hey everyone,

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday for July 2012. I'm very excited! :I'm a little nervous because from what I've read, it's going to be an extremely stressful year, but I know it will be worth it. Now that I've been accepted, the main thing on my mind is paying for it! I think I pretty much tapped out my undergraduate FAFSA loans on my first degree, but I'm hoping to get lucky. Anyone else accepted yet?

@BSNer12 when did u apply to the program?

@BSNer12 when did u apply to the program?

I turned in my application by mid April, but I didn't graduate with my BS until May. I had one pre-req to finish up. Now just getting finances in order and enjoying my last month and a half of freedom! :)

So I was recently accepted for the July Class and was wondering if anyone had heard anything about people having any luck (or any difficulty) getting into a MSN program after they completed their BSN at RCON? This is the longterm goal, and the "may or may not" aspect concerns me. Their CCNE accreditation would lead you to believe you would be an acceptable candidate at a university; but that DVD is gnawing at my brain now.

Anyone have any encouraging news?

Hey, I'm in for the July 2012 program too! I'm wondering if we need to bring a computer to class at all, or if I'll be okay with using something I can leave at home for now until I can afford a new laptop? Looking forward to meeting my class at the orientation!

I have been accepted for July 2012 and I need a roommate. Preferably a female for a 2/2 close to campus. Please reply if interested.

How is the program so far????

How was the workload, assignments like??

Don't count on getting into Florida state schools for post grad. UCF and UF are a definite no, I'd check if you're interested in others. I think Miami might be fine (private).

Depends on how you learn best. Some need their laptops and take notes directly on the powerpoints, others take notes on slides, others take notes in notebooks. What works best for you? You don't need a laptop, unless you need it to learn.

Plan on not doing anything for the first semester. It is likely that you won't be able to work. Lots of studying, a couple papers to write, not many assignments otherwise. You will spend lots of time in the lab for the first 6 weeks to learn techniques, then start clinical assignments.

Congrats on getting in. Remington students have a good reputation with Orlando health, represent the school well.
