- Dec 20, '12 by Blackcat99I went to one of their interviews. I was not impressed. They offered LPN's $15 an hour. They advertised that they had a lot of jobs in my local area. However, in reality they did not. They did have work available for those who didn't mind driving 1-2 hours to get to their job.
No thanks. - Dec 23, '12 by McBambiI'm 18, live at home and I've never had a job so $15 an hour sounds pretty good to me. Nursing homes in my area pay new grads 16.50 an hour so it's not that big of a difference. Hospitals are not hiring LPNs so I need to get the experience where I can. I wouldn't want to drive 2 hours to go to work though, way too far.
- Dec 23, '12 by Blackcat99Glad to hear that you are OK with the $15 an hour. I hope they will be able to find work for you in your local area. However, don't be surprised if the only work they have available for you is 1-2 hours away. Good luck.
- Dec 24, '12 by McBambiThnxxx. It's better than nothing or working for minimum wage, that's the way i see it. If the only jobs are that far away then I won't be accepting the job. The amount of money I'd be spending on gas will cancel my paycheck out.
