    Hello everyone,

    I am graduating nursing school and am thinking of moving to Orlando from New Orleans. I have applied for a GN position at Florida hospital and have had 1 phone interview for the ED GN. Does anyone know much about the ED at East Orlando Florida Hospital? Also what is the general rate for an ADN GN with a BA? I am excited about the possibility of moving back to Florida but I am also unfamiliar with Orlando, except for Disney. Is housing affordable on a new RN salary? I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I am nervous, just like most new grads, lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks yall

    I believe Florida Hosp in Orlando pays around $22/hr, for new grads with a BSN. I don't work there, but have friends who do. Cannot tell you anything about the ED. There's more to Orlando than Disney, but not a whole lot more. There are a LOT of cheap houses for sale here now due to the economy... especially if you want a short sale. As far as rentals, I don't really know.
