Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

Hey guys! Where did you all find the book list for fall?

I went to PBSC's book store website and looked up the books listed for each course using the course ID and reference number. I figured this would be the most current list since the instructors had to tell the book store which books they needed to stock. Then I searched Amazon for the books and ordered there.

You don't have to wear uniforms to those classes. At least we didn't have to last semester.

Great idea catalt! Just bought my books from amazon as well. Saved over $100!! Still have to get the hesi pack from the bookstore though.

Is the hep shot recommended or required? The paperwork says recommended, but nurses are telling me that hospitals won't use you if you don't have all the shots....

You don't have to have the Hep B vaccine it's just strongly recommended. And I know nurses that never got it based on beliefs or religious reason. Most hospitals offer it to you after you are hired.

I just finished all of the paperwork...yay!! I bought my scrubs from the book store (way cheaper) and I got my pins ordered. One more test for Pharm too...thank god. :)
