Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

If only every ones points would post today...that would be nice!!

I know right!!

I'm just waiting to see if my application was complete!.. Lol I've become obsessed with checking for ANYTHING, so I told myself that I'm not checking until Monday since that's when Latisha said I would see my points at the earliest. Try to enjoy your weekend ladies because when you get in your going to wish you could enjoy them lol ;)

Sick and studying for my pharmacology exam -_- should be a really fun weekend ;)

Thanks Michelle!!Pshh I will take that. Thursday really isn't that far off. I will still be checking all week though lol.

About pharmacology, I'm wondering if it is required have it before second semester. I mean, do you think may take pharmacology anytime or at least during the first year?

Pharmacology has to be done before you begin second semester.

joanna, how many classes do you take a semester?

First semester I had lecture, skills lab, clinical and pharmacology. Second is lecture, skills, clinical.

I find it amazing that PBSC can build amphitheater add ons left and right become a state college which I can imagine the funds that ar going into all of this but yet they still have only one person processing apps that apparently cannot handle the position herself any longer. This is outrageous we have been waiting way too long and now even longer?!?? This is unfair and torture!!

Do you have any advice for those of us that would be taking that same load the first semester? I haven't taken pharmacology yet and would have to during the first semester (pending acceptance of course).

My advice is start reading as soon as your accepted. First seven chapters pd nursing. Twelve of pharm are the first test. Don't fall behind in skills, schedule well, and stick to it. But don't forget to relax once in a while, it's necessary.
