Greetings everyone... I have not seen any threads on this site "subject": NWFSC Nursing Program. So I thought I would start one here. Yes, I am officially going to try to be admitted to the ASN Program Fall 2011. If you are a teacher, instructor, current student, graduate or a hopeful like me, I want to hear from you! The admission requirements seem to be pretty straight forward and uncomplicated. Just too good to be true...Seems like just about anyone who applies and has the required points needed for admission gets admitted. Do they not have too many applicants each year, since the area is heavily populated by military families, and no one stays around long enough to graduate? I also looked at nursing class pictures and classes seems to be small. Anyone know how many students they admit each school year? Thanks in advance for your answers! And sorry in advance too, as I will have many questions!

Congratulations to both of you! I received mine as well and am on cloud nine also! This has been my dream for my entire life, but raising my four daughters was a priority, and that took all my time and money...lol...but now their grown, it's my turn!

I look forward to meeting you in the fall, and hope to hear from more people at NWFSC!

Idvanepps I have four children also! Nice to know there will be another mom there with me frustrated:) lol! Life always "happens" on nights before a big exam or when I need to be working! Looking forward to meeting you all soon! I'm currently attending classes now...anyone else? I know a few girls from my previous micro class that were accepted!

Yay Floridamom850 and idvanepps I am a mom of two- not quite as many as you both but a mom- nonetheless! I think we will have a wonderful class and enjoy studying together! It's good that we want this so badly. I know it will be alot of hard work but we will have to make it fun and hopefully we will have lifelong friendships! (As you can see I already have some high expectations of nursing school. :o) Hopefully will get to meet you at the orientation in July. Woohoo!

Hi nursing students... just was wondering how the program is going? I haven't decided if I'm going to apply here yet because its not accredited by NLN. So I heard some employers won't let you work there and its hard getting into a higher degree program because of this. Has anyone heard about Gulf Coast Community college's program? I applied there but havent heard back.... Is your program challenging? How are you teachers?

I am looking to apply to the 2014 nursing school program at NWFSC. I will have all my cores by then, can you tell me if they are doing two different programs a spring and fall or just the fall. are the semesters for the program Fall, Spring, Fall, Spring? any advice on what to expect? Thanks

Found this thread searching for info. Just wondering if you could tell me how you liked the Rn-BSN program and NWFS. I'm looking to do mine there because they are accredited and the tuition is lower than the universities. Was it a good experience, the teachers, organization etc?
