    I understand that there is an incentive to be a nurse due to the shortage where in florida there is an agreement with wachovia bank to assist with a down payment of a house. I saw this info some where on the allnurses.com site, however now I cant find it.
    Anyone know of such a program????? Or any other incentive worth mentioning?

    If you go to the FHA website there should be info there. Also check the state of FL website. There is information there on all the incentive programs for nurses in FL. (click the healthcare related links and you'll eventually get there, sorry I don't have either address, just enter in a search). I think the program your looking for is a FHA sponsored one and it follows along the same lines as the teacher and police programs they offer.
