Hello everyone!

I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

If you are:

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

Everyone! Please stay positive! Even though its better said than done stay hopeful! i got accepted but i keep checking in to allnurses.com to see everyones status...i really want the best for all of you and you guys will get that 'congratulations on your acceptance' email very soon!!!! :bugeyes: I keep saying this but I just know it! :heartbeat I honestly think we all are going to be in this together because alot of people do decline the acceptance because they chose other schools since NOVA is more pricey maybe like FIU or MDC or even up north schools! I mean everyone wants to save MONEY right??? soo there will be open seats guaranteed. I just kinda wish I knew how they are doing this because my friend is still waiting :banghead: I got accepted a week after my interview and I was shocked because i know alot of people still waiting with similar grades like me and other things that we had in common...and they are still waiting??? I hope this wait is over for everyone soon!

And when this is all over! Please celebrate cause i sure would! :w00t::cheers::yeah:

Hey guys, unfortunately after opening the letter that i received in the mail today. I did not get accepted for Kendall Campus. I was heartbroken. I wish everyone the best of luck and i pray that for those who are still waiting , DONT LOSE FAITH!!! (I did my share of crying today) but i have to stay positive and i am not gonna give up. I will apply again for January to Nova and other schools. Everything happens for a reason!! I hope to be in your school next year. Good Luck

I'm so sorry!!! Don't give up. I had 5 rejection letters before my first acceptance to Nova!! I've done a lot I research on schools and if you wanna send me a private message or email [email protected] feel free. I'd live to help in any way I can!! Your time will come, I know it's the last thing you want to hear but it all happens for a reason and to will get your time!!

Has anyone received the pin for the background check? I paid the deposit and wanted to know how long it would take to get the pin..

I got accepted to the Ft. Myers campus and will be relocating over there as I am from Miami..

I would suggest calling or emailing for your pin. That what most of us had to do lol

I called nursing admissions and spoke to the lady in charge of the main campus. Im not sure who exactly you should speak to but I sure someone can direct you to the right person when you call

Hey everyone,

I got into the Ft. Myers Campus and my interview was on April 26th. Luckily I got the acceptance email only 2 weeks later. I'm from the West Palm area so I'll be relocating over the summer. I paid the deposit but still haven't gotten the PIN for the background check so I emailed the school and am waiting for a response. Good luck to everyone's who's still waiting! And whatever happens DON'T GIVE UP! If something's really worth having, it's worth fighting for.:yelclap:

Hi JOEYFutureARNP, Please stay positive. I know it's easier said then done, but remember that everything happens for a reason. Don't give up. A close friend of mine received a denial email on Friday and I told her the same thing. Please keep in touch we will always be here.

Joey! I know its hard believe me i can relate to you but think of the brightside...everyone has their time and maybe next time it'll be way better than if you got the chance now...God has a set plan for all of us here and sometimes in the moment we dont see it but later on it'll all come together. My really close friend who i've been going to school with ALWAYS taking the same since i can remember is still waiting and im being optimistic that we will not be separated! :crying2:
