    Hello all! I recently applied to the new graduate program at Florida Hospital. I had my phone interview with HR about 2 days ago. The HR professional then told me she would send 2 emails, one with a personality survey and the other to submit emails for references. I just sent those off and now the waiting begins. I'm trying not to freak out! I would love to start my career here. Any tips or insight into the interviews with the unit managers here?? I'm applying for med surg, PCU and neuro ICU. Thanks and good luck to anyone else applying!!

    Have you heard anything back yet ? Or are you still freaking out. I so want to move, and get some good training. Here in Philly is virtually impossible for a new nurse, even with lpn experience. Keep us informed and good luck.

    Thanks and good luck to u too. I'm Still excited and nervous sorry that's it been hard for you in Philly. I got a position in LTC and it hasn't been the best experience but experience nonetheless. I'm like you... really wanting to get into an acute care program. My app has been sent off to different nurse managers so hopefully ill be called for an intrview soon....

    Hi, I applied for the same position you guys talking about back in May 2011. I got the phone interview, the survey and the reference list as well. I was told that my application was sent to the campuses but still to this day I have not received a call back from any of the florida hospitals and I chose all the ones in the central florida area. Im just informing you about this cause I recommend you keep looking around at other hospitals too.

    Ditto to ALL of this. I finally did get a job with a Florida Hospital, Waterman. Its not due to my applications from before. I applied directly to Waterman since they do in house HR and don't depend on the big house to farm applicants out to them.
