LPN Schools and LPN Salary in Orlando?

U.S.A. Florida

Hi Everyone,

I am a pre nursing student here in Orlando and my goal is to become an RN helping people with disabilities. I've done quite a bit of research on some of the schools that offer LPN and RN programs. I would love to go to Valenica College West because they have a phenomenal RN program and the highest job placement. However 300 people apply per term and only accept 20-30 students which is super competitive obviously. The next start date into their 2yr RN program is August 2015 and Jan 2016. I looked into other RN programs at technical colleges like Lincoln Tech, Med Tech, ITT Tech, etc. I hear so many mixed reviews on the education, the cost, job placement, scams, and its all made me little weary. Soooo confusing.

So Im considering the LPN route first at Orlando Tech. Their program is for 1 year and starts in August 2014. Any LPNs out here in Orlando? Any advice on Orlando Tech or other LPN programs? Your experience pre and/or post LPN program? Advice on Technical colleges? LPN salary in Orlando? Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you all

I currently attend Lincoln Tech.LPN Program, half my class droped out,In the first semester.a couple weeks in (like 6-7 weeks) of school and suddenly. They stop coming to class, little by little, slowly but showly . They **** round and sign that contract tho.now they ass indebted.they gave exams every week, and people coming to school not studying and falln them *******.one teacher quit.you fails one class you take the entire course over the next year.that means u flunk one class just one and it will take over three years n 50,000 dollars to be a lpn.you ****** wen u sign that
