U.S.A. Florida

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone is applying to any of JU's BSN program.I applied to their second degree BSN program. I hear tuition is a bit expensive but is totally worth the $$. I hope to meet you all in May 2013 best of luck to you all Dec. 1st is right around the corner.

Hi Everyone! I received my acceptance letter earlier this week and was very excited! I also found out today that I got into another school in Virginia and now I am not sure what to do. I had a skype interview and learned great things about the school. I am a little concerned about the surrounding area, but I plan to live off campus. Has anyone talked to people in the program?

After much careful thought and consideration, I have decided to accept my position in the accelerated program at JU. I am looking forward to meeting you all in May! :)

Hello everyone!

I have also applied to the JU program. However, I was wait listed. Although, the good news is that they say that I am high on the wait list. I am not sure when they will start calling people from the wait list. Do any of you? I am waiting very patiently by the phone, waiting on that phone call! CONGRATS to all of you that made it and hopefully I will be seeing you all in the program!

I've gotten accepted in to JU. My acceptance letter was returned back to the school. I'm so glad the opportunity was still available. Congratulations to everyone! Can't wait to meet everyone!

Thank you! Have you paid your enrollment deposit? Have you started to look for apartments?

i paid the deposit yesterday but have not yet activated my student account. did you pay yours yet? i am probably going to try to live in the on-campus apartments for the summer sessions and then move into an actual off-campus apartment for fall semester going foward so im not rushed with trying to sign a lease and everything that comes with an apartment. im not even going to be in town for a week prior to orientation and i have to get a car and that will be my priority! where will you be living? i think you mentioned youre from Jax.. are you already settled or will you be moving closer to campus?

I paid mines the other day. I activated my accounts yesterday. I guess we are officially Ju nursing students. I think it will be a good idea to live on campus for summer so u not rushing everything all at once. Yes a car is a must. I was just thinking about cars and my commute to school. I stay on the westside. I won't b moving closer if I has the opportunity I would. Have you applied for any scholarships? Will you be doing financial aide and loans? Are you already CPR certified? I just sent an email asking to put me on the list to do it at the school.

yes, i guess we are officially considered JU nursing students! sounds surreal but i am excited :) i am not CPR certified yet, so I also requested to have my name put on the list for the class. i was going to get it done here, but i figured most schools have you do a class if you aren't certified so i'm glad i waited. i received an initial scholarship from JU when i first applied to the nursing program, but have not applied for any more. i will be doing government and private loans to cover everything else. i need to figure out all of that stuff next week actually so im not racing to get funding at the last minute. have you looked at the times available for classes for the summer sessions yet? are you doing loans/scholarships too? this program is going to go by FAST, at least for summer sessions!

It is so exciting! Everyday that goes by we are closer to going to class. I will be doing loans too. I need to get that figure that out next week as well. I guess we will be doing the CPR together. Do you know anyone here in jax? What made you chose Ju?I think the whole program will go fast. Before we know it we will be studying for the NCLEX!!
