Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.

What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.

Not weird at all.. totally normal! I'll take you up on that offer for a drink before orientation.

Did they assign your campus already or still need to wait for that?

They wrote assignments will be here in the next few weeks!

Thank you!! Which means, with my 3.52, you DEFINITELY GOT IN!!! I say we all go out for a drink and meet before orientation if we can!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) and thanks Juleby!!! Looks like we'll be classmates. We all worked hard as **** for this!! Is it weird that I can't stop crying??

Not at all! I almost hugged my mailman and had to stop myself,I actually stopped him in the middle of the road. Talk about crazy lol

I believe they go over it at orientation! Reading through the materials, it seems all we need to do is turn in the paper stating that we accept or decline the spot, and get our background check done before orientation in November. Do they cover drug testing after that?I didn't see any info saying where to go for that.

P.S. YES, ADULT DRINKS FOR ALL OF US. We should all keep communicating and make a date.

Hey everyone, im new to this forum but i got my letter today. I got in with a 3.86. so happy, the wait has been terrible.
