That had to be the worst orientation session i've ever attended. Its hard to believe that after so many years of doing this that HCC does not have a better system in place. I'm very disappointed...... Okay...Enough of that; its time to put that behind us and focus on these last 2 weeks of class so we can finish strong. Does anyone else's Certified Profile show "HI43 Fall 2013" with a due date of "8/20/2013"? I would have imagined it should be 'Spring 2014' and a due date of '01/08/2014'?

Yes, mine says that. Maybe they didn't change the info from the last semester. I think they use the same codes.

Hmm. OK. As long as its not something that I did wrong or mistyped.

I really wish all of this was a little more straightforward, and I didn't have to worry about double-checking everything that HCC does or is supposed to do. Between worrying about them miscalculating GPA's, missing acceptance letters, the inability to register, and everything else in-between I begin to wonder about all of this .

I thought you guys might like to know that books and more on Lois in tampa has the nursing books box brand new and if you take the coupon it comes out cheaper than at HCC. If you take your promissory not or financial aid letter you can take it home same day.

so, you mean that I can go next week, and got all my books from these people with my financial aid letter??? yes?? one more thing, do you mind telling us how much you paid?? with 4 kids and Chritsmas coming , money is a big issue for me !!

As long as you call first then yes, I paid $575 for the box and all you need is your id, Hcc onecard and financial aid letter. When you get paid in January they wil take out the money from your one account.
