Hello all,

I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to HCC's Spring 2013 nursing program. I am a Veterinary Technician/stay at home mom. I'm gathering everything for my application and hoping to drop it off at HCC soon. The deadline isn't until 6/1 but they recommend turning it in at least 30 days in advance. I'm a current HCC student. I was planning on applying for Fall this year, but am now expecting a little girl to arrive in July so spring it is! My pre-req GPA is 3.86 (all A's and 1 B), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program for DM evening classes. Good luck to all!

Hey guys! I'm freaking out! I recently moved and my letter is not at my old address, new address nor the post office. Do you think I should go into Hcc's nursing department? When is the deadline to accept a seat? Also my gpa is a 3.46... anyone mind telling me their gpa? This wait is killing me!

jemcvay go to Hcc that happened to a friend of mine, and she had the letter there, so maybe u as well. good luck

Just dropped off my appeal letter! I gave plenty of good evidence supporting the fact that it was HCC's error in the evaluation of my transcripts and wrote a very convincing letter so hopefully I'll be joining y'all for orientation in November! Fingers crossed!! :)

From what I've read from other posts, you have to go to the Ybor campus to get fingerprinted unless something changed from last semester to this semester.

The deadline is sept 28th. My GPA was 3.71

From what I've read from other posts, you have to go to the Ybor campus to get fingerprinted unless something changed from last semester to this semester.

You have to go in person. They need to take your actual fingerprints and run them through a data base.

In class today a young lady mentioned she denied her seat for the nursing program since she has decided to pursue education instead.

For those who have been accepted,

I am currently deployed and will not be able to view my mail until the 26th of September. What are the deadlines on the return paperwork, deposits etc.?
