Help transfering my LPN license to Fl

I currently live in Ky and have just recieved my LPN license here. My husband got a job in St.pete and we plan to move there in July. I have just got my license so I have no current experience as working as a LPN and with moving only a few months away I dont plan on getting a job just for that short period of time. Someone told me that to get my license in Fl that i had to have two years of work experience in the state i got my license in. can anyone tell me if this is true???

BTW, I loved living in St Pete! We actually had houses in Maderia Beach, Redington Beach, and St. Petersburg near Treasure Island! Enjoy those beaches!
