Has anyone applied to Florida Hospital Feb/March new grad?

Would like to see if anyone has gotten any application status changes or calls. Mine has said "application under initial review" for about 3 weeks. Anyone else?

Where are you ladies applying to? I'm in Miami and I just got my license in Nov and now I'm searching and I have heard nothing from anyone. Baptist, Kendall Regional, MCH, and Health South. It's hard being so patient when your savings is becoming less and less. Good luck!

^ hey, i live in central florida area. ive been applying from ft. myers to jacksonvile for 7 months with not much luck, although it is partially my fault as i have been pretty dead set on womens and pediatrics, which is harder to find. these are a couple GN postings i know of right now in FL based on indeed.com: Delray medical center, Baptist health in jacksonville, Lee memorial health system in Ft. myers, Baycare in st. pete, Baycare in Dunedin, and a VA hospital in Bay pines. also i would suggest joining memberships of the specialty area that you want and also trying to get specialized certifications in these areas just to stand out and show you have something special. you can find more specific information all over these boards (for example, try looking for posts like 'tips for getting into ___ specialty as a new grad)- people respond to these with helpful advice like specific organizations and certifications you can use for resume boosters, etc. I feel your struggle! lol

ohh ok. well it couldnt hurt to apply you can always say no if you get an offer and decide that you really dont want to move

I just got a phone interview this past Thursday from Florida Hospital, and got thru that, did the questionaire and references thing then the next day got a call for a interview for peds oncology at Florida Hospital Disney Pavilion in a week. But I applied for the GN Program at the end of November and it took over a month for HR to call me..

So fingers crossed..

Hello...i also applies to this program a few days ago and checked the status of the application and says under initial review..hope thats a good sign...does anyone know how in detail are the initial phone interviews?....good luck to all.....
