From what I can see on the application, FSU does not require TEAS for freshmen or transfers. The online application for transfers only asks for your basic information and to list your academic history (just the name of school, dates of attendance, and degree) and a reminder to send those academic transcripts to FSU. The ABSN program application is similar except it requires uploading a résumé. I would definitely recommend talking to the counselor at FSU. They are responsive and can help you through the process. Good luck to all!

Hey! Does anyone know when we should be hearing about admission decisions for the Generic BSN program? I'm so anxious about it!

Nope! I have to say I didn't really like their application. It was very generic with no essay or anythings.Being that I applied as a transfer I felt that I didn't really have a chance because all they wanted was transcripts. I feel like when they come to two applicants who have the same gpa their just going to go with their students because again they didn't ask for anything that would set us apart form each other. Not that my gpa sucks but I'm thinking most people applying there have really good gpas so that really leaves no chances for transfers

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm a transfer student myself and I would have also liked to talk about my experiences that I felt would have set me apart. But it's like you said most of the spots will be for FSU students. Yesterday I called the school and they said we should all expect a decision by the first week in April. That is just around the corner so good luck to us all! :)

Wow that's super fast compared to everyone else. Weather we get in or not I think it will be a stress reliever because we wont be on edge for months:)

I agree, I just want to receive a letter already. It makes me so anxious not knowing! I would be a transfer student so my chances might not be as good as those already attending FSU.

What are your GPA's that applied for FSU transfers? What do you think about the fact that they are only accepting 18 transfer students :(

Haha I won't shoot you! I have a lot of friends at UF, which is another reason why I want to go there so badly. I'm not at FSU, I'm at Miami Dade Honors College, which is an honors program in a Florida state college. I'm very nervous about transferring because I know how hard it is for transfer students to be accepted places. I'm also applying to UCF, USF, and UNF as my many back ups. But UF is my top choice with FSU being my second!

I sent you a pm.
