Hi everyone, well I'm starting this convo so we all can get an idea of who, what, when, and where with FSCJ. Good topics would include testing materials, the average ranking of points for the upcoming term, and any other useful ideas that will help us all get into to this crazy hard nursing program! :) So, lets see if we can help each other out....and it's kinda fun to talk about nursing as well :)

Thank you all sooooooo much for the information. I really appreciate it. I was only 3.08 points from the cutoff. I had a 183.96 and the cutoff was 187.04. If I just had a B in A&P2 instead of a C I would have gotten in. I don't mind paying UNF rates as I already have my AA, BSH, and MPH from there. I'm used to the crazy tuition. I'll look every possible option. I would retake the NAT but I feel like that's just an exam that is pointless to study for. I felt like I was taking a personality test for a job. As for the TEAS, studying definitely helped me. I was considering applying for fall at FSCJ and then also fall at SJRCC. I seriously can't believe there is a state law that limits you from bettering yourself. Especially when you are willing to fork over money to these state colleges. I would love to know their reasoning behind why they made such a rule to begin with.

You can take a math or humanities if you didn't get an A in those, it would have to be different than the one you have, but it could get you more points. I had a 103 on the NAT so I'm taking it again to reapply for fall and hope I get more points. My grades from 20years ago hurt my points and I cant retake them.

Congrats to all that were accepted!!! I applied for the LPN to RN bridge and haven't received my status letter yet. I've contacted the program advisor, but I was wondering if your Connections page was different in any way? I was hoping I could be a little sneaky to determine my status that way. When you log onto Connections, is there anything different or any options available to you now that were not, prior to you learning of your acceptance?

I didn't notice any difference in Connections.

Hello everybody! I too am new to posting in this thread, however I have been reading it for few months. I'm in days.. wanted to post to respond to a post a day or two ago, regarding the physical and vaccinations.. I completed mine today and got everything including tetorifice, tb and Hep B vaccine for $240 was the best I could find as far as price.I went to Lake Shore Medical center on San Juan on westside.

Hi all,

I paid for the backgound check and received an email confirmation of my order, but it says that I should fax the form in order for my background check be completed? I'm confused, what should I do? that means that my background check haven't been completed?
