Hey everyone!! I just wanted to start a new topic since it doesn't seem there are any discussions yet about anyone who is applying to the Nursing program for Fall 2012. I'm a little nervous right now b/c I will still be enrolled in Micro when I apply. Without Micro I will have a 189. I'm still going to apply (with my fingers crosse) in hoped I get in or even get a call from someone denying. If I end up with at least a B I'll have 201 total points. From what I've read a 201 should be guaranteed but then I'd have to wait until Spring. Fingers crossed a 189 w/o Micro will be enough for Fall! I'm so ready to start this program. Nervous & excited. Any tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated =)

I'm turning in my application today! Anyone else getting their's together? I re-took the NAT this morning and scored 7 points higher this time! So excited and so nervous!!

Congrats on your NAT! I turned my application in last week...I am such a freak that I keep thinking they are going to lose it!! I'm seriously thinking about calling up there to make sure they still have it-lol-crazy, I know :rolleyes:. Are you applying for days or nights?

I'm leaving work early today and driving to North campus to turn it in in person...that's how much of a freak I am! I'd be too nervous mailing it lol. I'm applying for days. You? July seems SOOOO far away to wait for our letters!!

Haha, that's what I did too. I cannot even fathom sending my application through USPS...talk about panic! I'm applying for nights. I work full-time, and I honestly just couldn't afford to quit and go days. Darn mortgage and car payments-ugh! So, July is definitely going to be the best month ever, or the worst. I seriously wish I had a fast-forward button! :bugeyes: Come on July!!

When I turned mine in yesterday, the lady looked it over to make sure it was all there and I had nights/weekends marked as my 2nd choice since I prefer days and she said that they weren't offering nights again until Spring 2013. Not sure if you want to check on this...seems like each person in the office tells you something different. Very annoying!

And yes, I definitely agree about the fast forward button!

I have heard multiple stories as well...I swear they all just need to sit down together and get it straight! I really hope the Spring 2013 isn't true-I put days as my 2nd choice, but I just don't know if I could swing that. Ugh!! Now I feel totally ill-lol.

I'm trying to stay as positive as possible! I just sent an email to Cheryl James, so hopefully she will be able to clarify this for me. Pins and needles over here :bugeyes: Haha, gotta love all the suspense. It will all be alright though!!

Well, I'm screwed! Haha, it looks like I am going to have to find a way to take classes during the day, or wait an excruciating amount of time for the N/W for Spring 2013. Decisions, decisions...and this is even if I get into the program at all! Yikes!

I am going to be taking my NAT in the next coming week. I feel a little nervous about it. I have all of my courses complete to count toward points except Micro and HUM, so once I apply I'll have 88 points + whatever I end up getting on the test. I'm a little anxious becuase if I don't get in for the Fall term I won't have any other courses to take until I apply again for the spring. :down: Has anyone taken medical terminology. I thought about taking that in the event that I am not accepted into the program. I assume it would help some... maybe? Does anyone else have any good advice about the test? Thanks for your help and good luck to all of you!! I hope to see some of you in the Fall!

Hey everyone! I am also a Fall hopeful. I will be taking the NAT next week. I took it sometime ago (3 months ago) and will use my first scores against the new scores. Good luck to you all!!!!

Does anyone know where or if you can take practice tests for NAT online? I'm re-taking the NAT on the 31st before I turn in my application and I did not do very well on the first test so any advice I can get would be so helpful!!
