I know there is another thread about online bridge programs, but there are 48 pages and I need specifically Florida programs because I have Bright Future's. If anyone could suggest some for me, that would be great! I know about FSU and UCF. Thanks a lot!!! =)

Well, I will check it out again, The spring class is full already, So it next Fall for RN to BSN online at UCF. I could get some of more of my other cases out of the way.,Thanks for the reply. I am trying to blog and clean house alittle at the same time

Florida Hospital College's RN to BSN is totally online- you don't ever have to visit Orlando (unless you want to visit Mickey, of coorifice! :D):

As long as you have your RN, its not that hard to get in. Here is their admissions info: http://onlinenursing.fhchs.edu/online-rn-bsn/

that's a very pricey school!:twocents:

I am looking into Western Governors University Program

It a toss up between them and UCF and USF. The FIU looks good but to far for me to travel once a month. I know USF has there act together with all MSN programs and UCF also.

Im currently a student of the RN-BSN program at FIU and there is not traveling once a month for their program! during the physical assessment class, there is a return demonstration test required at the campus lab, for only one day.

I know someone from UCF and she said that she has to go once a month to the school.

Is UCF online hard to get into?

I spoke to a admission Nursing Person

she asked me why don't you go to some place closer to where you live

Like I was a big brother to her and I got the same response from FSU!

I think I will try USF online and RN to MSN or RN to PHD!

I like the FIU program where you take the EC Exams and challenge three of them and get your BSN with all the Prereqs completed of course.

those 3 EC exams will give you 30 credits towards the RN-BSN program, im about to take one of them in a month. a little nervous, and --- procrastination is what is setting me behind. but tonight -- i will study for at least an hour!!

I will apply to FIU it sounds doable

I have a coworker who is interested also

How are you preparing for the Examines

I saw where so nurses are paying for RUE or Istudysmart

for EC exams. Also I read that CLAST is no longer require as of 7/1/2009

to enter any FL State College.

I have alot of business courses and mu science courses are from long ago

I graduated in 1978 on Nursing, I have two BSN courses I completed from UOP they took my sciences courses maybe I can transfer that way into FIU

The Dean is terrific at FIU and is on the vanguard for Nursing Education.

I met her before at FNA meeting,She is always getting awards.

for the EC exams, FIU teacher recomended the reviews and rationales, so i am studying those books; and the girls i know from the program who took the exam said they did a lot of questions from nclex-rn study books so i will do the same.

i never took the CLAST because i had A's and B's in math and english so it except me from taking it.

FIU is not that bad, and you don't have to be there constantly, the online courses are good and organized and you don't do group projects... as you know, sometimes some peers do not do their part.

I like it, you just have to be organized... and i am not, i am such a slacker

wish you the best.

I think I would realy like that program at UOP we had group every week and it counted 20% to 25% of our grade,it was fun 50/50% of the time. You know what I am talking about

I am will check into FIU tomorrow morning

I would have to drive or fly into Miami for Clinicals assessment

and test or maybe there another way.

Im currently a student of the RN-BSN program at FIU and there is not traveling once a month for their program! during the physical assessment class, there is a return demonstration test required at the campus lab, for only one day.

Can you send me any info on the FIU program? I did not even know they have an RN-BSN program and would really consider doing that if it is true that UCF's spring class is full.

go to FIU the the school of nursing it is RN to BSN online program

or go to FIU online degrees and you will see the RN to BSN

USF has RN to MSN online like UCF

UIF: It is only three EC exams a clinical and two more BSN online courses

to complete

Also look at UCF site it said they are now taking applications for the Fall 1010 class for a BSN not spring and the MSN they are still taking Spring 2010 enrollments Applications.

Yeah, now they require an information session. I'll probably apply anyways.
