FGCU Nursing Fall 2013 Applicants!

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I just wanted to get a post going for all FGCU School of Nursing Applicants for the Fall 2013 semester.

At minimum, please post your current school, cumulative GPA, and program percentile rank from your TEAS exam.

It's killing me to not know if I was accepted or not! I know they said 8-10 weeks, but dang, the waiting is the worst! Anyone have info on when the earliest date they have notified people of acceptance/rejection in previous years?

FGCU has nice small class sizes as well! I scored in the 80's and had a 3.5GPA. I graduated Dec 2011. Great professors great support. BSN over associates is the way to go! It's a hard program. I started with 38 people Jan 2010 and graduated Dec 2011 with only 6 girls of the original 38!! The rest failed out or graduated late. Definitely worth it. Study hard!!

I think I saw previous threads on it, and the people there found out at the very end of March. So, that's when I am expecting an answer.

Thanks...I saw that too, I was kinda hoping that I was "special" and would find out sooner. I am an idealist like that ?. Oh well, one more month of wondering...

I was just wondering if anyone has received an email or a letter in the mail yet? I have yet to hear anything. Looking at last year's thread, most people knew whether they were accepted or denied by now. The wait is driving me crazy!

I have not received an email or letter yet as well. I'm starting to freak out a little bit- checking email every hour.

I have not received any email or letter yet either.... I am keeping my spirits up by thinking they are a little behind because of the Mens awesome basketball season :)

I haven't heard anything from them as well. As soon as I do, I will post, and will u guys do the same? One thing I did notice is that in 2011, they knew by early March, 2012 was late March....so perhaps the trend is later and later as the number of applicants grow. Whatever it is, I too, am checking my email every hour---frustrating!!

No e-mail for me yet either! As nervous as I am, I'm hoping to hear from other schools this summer so this feels like nothing lol. That being said, I wouldn't mind hearing something this week!

Ok...tomorrow makes 9 weeks. I am so ready to get on with this. Are they seriously going to drag this out until April 15th?
