english nurses wanting to work and live in florida

Myself and my husband are qualified RNMH nurses ( nurses qualified to work with people with mental retardation). We are very interested in the possibility of moving to Florida and working there as nurses. Can anyone tell us if our qualification would be recognised in the USA and how we might be able to register to work in Florida and live there.
