English Assessment Test for Barry

So, I got into Barry and will register for my classes later on this week. I got a letter in the mail saying that I had to take the EAT exam (English Assessment Test). Did anyone else have to take this? I already have a Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university and do not see the point in taking this test, but I will if I have to.

I believe everyone that's going to start the nursing program in Fall 2010 is required to take it. They used to distribute the exam during Nursing Orientation, but now they are making us take it before to save time in Orientation. I haven't taken it yet, nor have any of my friends. However, I did hear it consists of some reading comprehension and an essay at the end; it takes approx 2 hrs to complete. I also heard that if you do not pass it, it's not a big deal..but you might need to attend some remedial courses to ensure you're ready for the reading and stuff in nursing school.
