by traumarntravel Dec 5, '11word to all you nurses wanting to move to naples, cape coral, or west coast, florida....don't do it!!! these hospitals here dont care about nurses, be it staff, travelers, or seasonal. they regular staff are rude, not team players, and when someone has to float it always the travelers that do it. most comment from the staff are "well you make $70/hr whats the big deal", "why do you complain it you have to take 6 or 8 patients", well hello "im an ICU not floor nurse, thats why!!!. thick real hard about it before you make the move to work on the west coast of florida, you may make the biggest mistake of your career.

$70 an HOUR!!!
I can't WAIT TO get through school and do what you do! I'm making $8.50 an hour now and working at the mall retail... that's putting up with a LOT! Customers and their attitudes of entitlement are worse than I could imagine non-team players being.
