CEU req.

Hello everyone,
I have to renew for first time my license which will expire this April 2012, and I am confused with the ceu reqs.
Is there anyone here who will be renewing for the first time? Please share your
understanding on my confusion.
What particular course I need to take, and how many ceus? Also,can I already renew it before April?
Is it true that we need to take ceu every month?
