Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Hi, I am new and have seen a few posts regarding the BC Nursing program. I have completed all of my pre-reqs including the HCP001 course. I plan to take the HESI in one week with my goal to start the January 2012 RN generic program. I am scheduled to take Microbiology & lab during the fall term. To prepare for the HESI exam, I have studied the math, vocabulary, grammar portions from the HESI study guide, but too, am concerned about the AP portion of the HESI test. Shepta or other persons on here, can you assist with any advise to study for the AP portion and any other HESI exam tips? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hi everyone! I am planning on applying for the January 2012 date as well. Im extremely nervous about taking the HESI exam in two weeks..... I actually took all of my pre-reqs some years ago and Im hoping I can refresh my memory and do well on the exam. If Im correct, I think I'll have 12 points. Im praying this gets me in along with a great HESI score. Is there anyone that can offer some advise on the exam? Shepata, would you mind sending me some pointers as well? [email protected]. Hi everyone

I am planning on applying for the january 2012 generic also. well today i will turn in my application. I took the hesi. The first time i took it, i had a 92 in math. 78 in reading . 74 in grammar. 71 in vocabulary. 88 in anatomy. the test wasnt difficult only the vocabulary part was a little confusing to me. so i had to retake the grammar and the vocabulary. wich i score 91 and 80. i retake the reading portion because i didnt like the 78, so i score 92. my advise to anyone taking the hesi is to take the vocabulary first then reading and math at last. because i took math at first and spent all my energy and concentration in math by the time i was done with math i couldnt concentrate and i was tired so i score low in the other one. The hesi book was very useful, specialy for the vocabulary portion. if english is not your first language like me , you have to put extra effor to pass the vocabulary. the anatomy was basic kwnoledge. Math is basic. addition subtraction . Oh dont forget to memorize concersion factor like. pint in ounces. pound in kg ect. Good luck to all of you
