Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

U.S.A. Florida

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Well my friends same place same time tomorrow?? See you then.[/quote']

I'll be here....less cuticles

Is this app the first thing I checked BEFORE my alarm went off at 7:30 this morning? You betcha. If I am waking up early you know my anxiety is high as heck.

Yeah I checked while walking the dog at 630am!! Just in case they stayed late to process applications and changed our statuses in the middle of the night...lol...it's getting bad. :/

Not only do I get to hit refresh on the pages involving the RN program, but my e-filed tax returns STILL haven't been accepted by the IRS due to the education credit. It has been going on 3 weeks now with the my TurboTax status as "pending" as they wait for the IRS to update their system. At this rate I might not be mentally stable enough to handle school come May. :banghead: :wacky: (I kid, I am a beast!)

I'm doing the same thing. Still waiting on my return because of the education credit thing too. Ya know I really don't think we are going to find out until tomorrow on V day!

Here is some more info to confuse things just a little more.

Program Status.........:ACTIVE, Pgm Admit Status:N (from my degree audit, still shows not admitted)

I can't let you have all the fun, so let me add mine to the mix:

I think the program admit status says it all. Do you know when yours changed from N to Y?

I wouldn't put much stock in it. Notice the asterisk after the AA, it means Primary Program so I would think the admit status refers to the AA.

FYI - I submitted my application on 1/15 so I would assume why Nursing indicates that date.

That makes sense, my asterick is next to the 2127 Nursing, thus the reason for the N I guess.

*Sigh* I applied for the LPN-RN transition and they had made a mistake. They put me in for the Generic RN and even then I was told I was on the "Approval" list. I had to call them today and had them fix it to LPN-RN. Now I have to wait until March 15. This wait is killing me! :roflmao:
