Broward College August 2012

U.S.A. Florida

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

^^^ I know that everyone is super busy:writing: with class and all. I understand; however I would love to hear from some of them to see how it is going. I see it's a trend the thread is super busy while we are doing preq's. Then all of a sudden it's a ghost town. Again, I understand how everyone can be so busy. I think myself and others would love to know what been happening. Especially after Nursing Process 1 and 2.

I would love to hear back too. I've been following this thread. It's always like that. It's super busy when it's pre admission time, then after the program starts, it's tumbleweeds. Lol

Lol @ tumbleweeds..... Your right it sure is...

Well summer is officially here and the August 2012 is off for 6 weeks. All I can say is I love nursing school, but am so grateful for the break! If nursing is your passion then you will enjoy learning all about it. We started out a large group and I believe 65% of the orginal group is still here our group is awesome we all get along and look out for each other (we have a special bond)..... We are 70% done with the program (four more classes! yay!!). It was not easy! It took alot of hard work, dedication and determination, I don't have s horror story to tell....(it is what it is).... You just have to know what you want and go for it regardless of how much you feel like giving up. My advice is stay on top of the reading, if objectives are provided by your instructor go by it.... use your resources (meaning: if you dont understand something google it, youtube it, etc.) Find yourself a study partner not a study group *because then it becomes a party lol* a partner that shares the same enthusiasim as you.... (Partners to me help motiviate each other and share different understanding on subject areas that may help in dissecting the subject).... Also practice questions! It helps in testing your level of comprehension *dont want to wait for the exam for that* lol..... So you can focus more on your weak areas... I cant believe i was in this thread saying am accepted now here I am almost done with nursing school.... Time really flies! Just work hard keep your eye on the prize, stay on top of everything, never give up, and you will be fine!!
