Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

does anyone know what book we are using for the pharmacology class with kraljevich, robert at central?

also, btw the issues regarding the drug screening, you're supposed to have the last copy of the form only. that's your receipt for the drug screening. everything else will be sent to bc. don't stress out on little things and i hope this helps.

I don't think you need the book for him. From what I've heard, all you need is his notes.

books are adopted by the college not by campus. so, the books are the same.

i only bought books one class at a time. for process i, you'll need the following:

fundamentals

clinical skills

I have a question about financial aid if anyone knows. I applied for a student loan which I have never done before. They said they are still processing the loans when I spoke to them on Thursday. Now once the loan goes through and is accepted, does it automatically pay my tuition fees and any left over they send by check? How does this work?

From what I understood from what the man from fin aid said at orientation your it will automatically pay your tuition. Then the rest will be sent to you school account to with the option to use it to pay for books. If you don't buy any books via theschool bookstore then the money will be sent to you. Some schools will direct deposit the remainder into your bank account, but since I don't think they ever ask for it, it will prob be mailed to you.

What about the Med Surg book? When did you use that?

Medical-Surgical by Lewis is used during GI/GU, Ortho-Neuro, and Cardio. You won't need this book until your 3rd course, which is during your second semester.

i didn't work until specialties, which was in my 3rd semester. when i began to work, i only worked 10 to 15 hours per week.

other students work and are able to pass. i did not work at the beginning of the program b/c i was determined to earn all a's and b's. a few semesters in, i'd developed a system and i knew what to expect. so, i had a lot more down time.
