Just wondering if anybody went to or is going to Keiser University's nursing program?

Cdub, sorry so late! Yes it is very doable. It is just TONS of reading! The clinical rotations are during class time, you just have a longer day for clinical. maybe 6:30-2:30 or 7:30-3:30.It is different at each campus. In WPB there were 2 set clinical days but one day you practice clinical simulation in lab and the other is at the clinical site. In Tallahassee we had 2 clinical days and did clinical simulation a few days after our rotations were complete at our sites. Hope this helps! I have also cleaned out my inbox!

If anyone needs help with your classes I can assist you with finding resources online for most of the classes at keiser. I am the IT go to person when I was at keiser.

Hey could you PM me?

I was thinking about going to keiser, but I was wondering how the teas work? What are the requiring scores you need to pass? I have taken the teas before does this affect the chances of getting into the nursing program?

Keister requires you to take the TEAS before anything else. Math is 76%, Science 56%, reading 75% and English 75%. I think this is what the scores were when I took it in the summer. You pay your exam fee which is about $50 I think and the ATI book is like $75. Once you pass all 4 sections of the TEAS, you will be called in for an interview with the committee and bring a bunch of paperwork. They decide if they'll let you in the program and then you can start your pre-reqs either online or in class. Food thing is that in 9 months you should be done with those since you take only 1 class per month. Then you start your NURS classes and clinicals. Hope this helps.

Is there a limit to how many times you can take the teas for keiser? I have taken the teas for another school already but it looks like I have a few points less then the scores you said.

I'm not sure as for a limit. When you don't pass one of the sections you can re-take it by paying $25 for each section you retake. The advisors at keiser at sales people so they want you retake ASAP because you're paying to so it. Or they may suggest a new career path which of course it's a program they offer so you end up signing up for something. My advisor said that to me and offended me in a big way so I didn't retake and I singed up at another school that doesn't require TEAS for admission and its an hour away from me but I just ended my semester with great grades and I start my sciences in January and the nursing classes in the fall. Good luck.

Hello

about the letter of recommendation, do they have to be sealed in an envelope by the professor, or can you seal it yourself?
