i'm lpn (graduate from ptec last year) , just finished all my prereqs, applied for the may lpn transitional program, still waiting for response, but getting cold feet. hear so much negativity about sps nursing program, couple of my friends are crying every time i talk to them about it, what is going on over there? is is better to find another school, like galen. if there any student in this program, please respond, let me know how is it, any advice?
    thank you

you may find more info under other SPC posts on here .... just use key word search "SPC" i've been hearing a lot of different things lately about SPC's nursing program, which has me concerned as well. i would strongly suggest against galen, unless you want to spend the rest of your life paying off their school loan -- it will cost you about 18K, as opposed to 5K at SPC.

how did you like pTEC? i'm trying to get into their october class now -- plan on doing just like you and go right into the SPC bridge program.

thanks -- and good luck to you
