Good afternoon all,

Just wondered if anyone out there has attended ANHO RN Program, in West Palm Beach, FL or do you know anyone who has?

Would you recommend the Program?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

I've been inquiring and called today......sadly the bridge program is no longer 1yr but now 2. That's no bridge! Still interested though due to the minimum requirements, no wait, and I hear they do prepare you to pass.

That was a typo on my behalf. I attempted to forward someone interested in ANHO your screen name to follow your journey while there but mistakenly posted it here. Great accomplishments.....yes you did earn eveyone of them! Thanks for sharing your journey!

Hi CLUVRN,

I know it's been a year since these posts, but Would like to know how the program was at ANHO? For instance were you able to work while in the program? Do you feel you were prepared when taking the NCLEX? Would you recommend anyone else to attend?

I'm a prospected student as well whom is from the tri-county area. Do know that ANHO is one of the best private schools in the area right now! There pass rate is higher than some of that community colleges for a few years now. That's a major factor! I know many who are currently attending this program. It's no walk in the park, but do know upon completion you will pass your board. Based on all that I know, not what I heard, I also will be attending here. Hopefully next year is my goal!

Best of luck in what ever decision you make!

Sorry, I'm late with a response, I've been busy over the past year since I've posted on this thread! I know that since I graduated ANHO back in May 2014, many things have changed. We used ATI back then; I believe now, they use the HESI. We had a series of end of program exams collectively called 'Integration'; I believe now they have the Hesi end of program exams in its place. My LPN to RN bridge program was one year--now I believe it's two years. Yes, I did work throughout the program 30-35 hours a week as an LPN doing private duty pediatric shift work. Yes, I felt very prepared for NCLEX--not because ANHO prepared me, but because I studied my tail off for it on my own using NCLEX prep books. I guess it worked, I passed on the first try with 75 questions:). Finally, would I recommend the school to anyone else? If you are self-motivated, driven to succeed, can teach yourself the material, then yes, I would recommend it. However, if you need constant clarification of the material, have a hard time grasping a lot of new concepts at one time, or expect tutoring on difficult subjects from the instructors, then perhaps a different school might be a better fit for you. ANHO expects its students to hit the ground running from day one; to not do this will cause you to fall behind quickly and once this happens it is VERY difficult to catch up. Hopes this answers your questions!
