2013 UF Accelerated BSN Applicants!

I am gatorguy3380, and I am planning on applying to the UF Accelerated BSNprogram beginning in 2013! I have been steadily working my way through my prerequisites and am studying for my GRE as we speak. I have been eyeing thisprogram for a while and have found that this thread is a great way to shareexpectations and successes for those pursuing entrance into this prestigiousprogram.

So it seems like everyone on here likes to know each other's "stats."So since I seem to be the originator here you go! I have a BS from FlaglerCollege in St. Augustine that I received 6 years ago. My GPA from my last 60was 3.55. I have completed Human Nutrition, Statistics, Human Growth andDevelopment, and A&P 1, all with A's. My overall college GPA is just a hairover a 3.0. I am currently in Micro and plan on taking A&P II in the springjust prior to admission. I am 32, a male, and used to be a law enforcementofficer. I feel that with a combination of my academics and my personalexperiences, with a solid GRE score (which I haven't taken yet) and stay ontrack with my pre-reqs I stand a good chance of getting in!

Just because I posted my info, there is no need to post yours. I like the ideaof meeting some of my future cohorts on this life course change and createdthis tread so that we could all find a sense of comfort in a tiny sharedcommunity! Good luck to all and I will enjoy interacting with you here!

I asked today when we would hear and the response was that the letters will go out within the next week, so that could mean, today, tomorrow, or 7 days from now. Regardless, we will know soon! YAY! :up:

Anyone else get an email about summer/fall registration from the provost? Not sure if its related to me being currently enrolled in their graduate certificate program in public health or if its a sign of good news coming from the nursing program?

I haven't received an email like you are talking about, but I also am not a UF student.

I am not a current UF student. However, today I checked my ISIS account and I had a few more options that I didn't have this past weekend. Before when I would check Holds it told me "no record found", but today it says "you currently have no holds." Also, this past weekend under my Degree Audit it said "no record found," but today it says "NO DEGREE PROGRAM UF NR-NRS 2012." ??? The optimist in me is soooooooo going to infer here. lol :wacky: On a side note, I checked the mail yesterday and had a large envelope...my heart sank even though I knew it was too soon. Stupid MetLife yearly statement had me all excited....i'm too impressionable right now. :yes:

Nettegator, do you have a registration start time on ISIS for summer?

If i click on Registration Prep it says "Record not found." Then I click continue and it says "Registration times for summer/fall have not been assigned." Before it had nothing not even "Record not found." It was blank. It now has my married name. I sent my high school test scores to UF 11 years ago, but never applied. Because of that everything has had my maiden name until today. I just noticed that everything has my current married name.

On the left column there may be a registration prep button, at least there is for current students. If you click on that then hit continue, there might be a registration start time box. I have one, and if ours match, that might be a good sign? And yeah, I also have the same degree audit as you.

I have a registration time for 3/27! Does this mean something?
