If you completed all of the requirements and this is your second time appling, don't worry you will get in.

Lets hope so. There's soooo many people appling and not many slots for everyone.

Is this your second time around? It is for me.

I applied last year for the 2009 night track. So this is my second try.

This is my second time around too, I applied for the August 2009 track, was denied. Checking the mail everyday and nothing!! Also, I can enroll in classes now but I am waiting to find out if I am in or not.

Then, I think you'll get in... I know the feeling I start at VCC, graduated this summer thought I was going start in Aug boy was I wrong... I just kept bugging them at scc I told them I wasn't going to take "No" for an answer. I explained that I'm a much different student now that I'm older(35). I'm focused and my kids are not babies matter of
fact they help my study... It's got to help that were not 18 and going to drop the program when thing get a bit tough... Just hang in their, we will soon be laughing at how stressed we were about getting in the program...

Hmmm. My understanding of the criteria is a bit different. I love the idea of this being my second time applying means I will get in, but from the denial letter last time, I don't think that fits the criteria.

For the Fall 2009 term they accepted those that finished their prerequistes in the Fall of 2008 or before. Everyone left over that finished their prereq's in the summer 2008 were supposed to get in, then those from Fall of 2008 with a minimum GPA of 3.90 or higher got in (with consideration for their TEAS score).

So we are looking at anyone that finished their prereq's before us and then the highest GPA's that finished in our term, if they get that far. I was hoping not as many people would apply with it being the nights/weekend program. Guess we'll see what the number is from some of the letters that will go out. For the Aug 2008 term they had approximately 300 applicants.

Well if that is true it looks good for me since I finished my pre recs in summer of 2008. My fingers are crossed.
