Polk County employers & pay rates for LPNs?

by susieqp

Hello!

I'm looking to relocate to Polk County. I have over 10 years' experience in agency/home care/high-tech pediatric (vent/trach) care.

If you know of an employer that hires LPNs in Polk County, could you please let me know who they are and what their average pay rate is?

Also, if there is any company that has an extra-good reputation, please let me know that, too!

Thanks so much!

God Bless,
SusieQp

What kind of employer are you looking to work for? There are many employers in Polk County that hire LPNs. With the exception of Lakeland Regional Medical Center, even most of the hospitals in the area still hire some LPNs.

If I could find a good pediatric LPN position I would be thrilled! I would like to do home care, but I NEED health insurance.

My employer actually has openings in pediatrics, not sure the pay would be what you are looking for though, although you do have a good amount of experience. I can't think of any home health agencies off the top of my head, there definitely are some around though.
