Hi, purplestang...im gonna start nursing next semester at DM campus (January 2010) (morning session). I want to know who is the best instructor at that campus. This semester two of my friends had to drop the programm because of the instructor. Who do you recommend me to take?

Hi! I'm not Purplestang, but I am in my first semester on the dale mabry campus...as far as which instructor, if you are set on wanting the morning session, you don't have a choice. There is one teacher for the morning and one for the afternoon...I have a few opinions but I'd rather not post them on here. If you want to message me I will give them!

Does HCC accept by the order that the applications come in? Or do they review them all at the end of the deadline? I'm debating whether to turn my application in now for the Fall of next year or waiting for the end of the semester so my grades from this semester will be included.

Also, how long did everyone wait to get into the nursing program after applying?

Hi, Nursing student 09, i think they review all the applications and select the students by the higher GPAs. U will need to finish all your pre-req before applying to the program, otherwise your application will not be considered eligible.

Hi tata-star,
I took the morning semester for NP1 - our instructor was tough but she was really good. A lot of people failed though (like 12 out of 30) - I don't think as many failed in the afternoon session? You really have to be dedicated and want to learn, and literally devote all your free time to this to do well!
