Has anyone challanged the CNA board test ?

I did this years ago and passed. I also have a few friends that studied and passed. The only negative to this is many people may pass written, but fail the skills portion because of missing little things. So in that respect a prep course is helpful. But on the website http://www.prometric.com/NurseAide/FL.htm you can look at the skills checklist and it tells you in detail what you need to do. Good Luck!

I challenged the test 9 years ago today! I did go to a few weeks of "free" training at a local nursing home. They were basically getting "free" labor from us. Go to the site the previous poster mentioned & that should help you with your skills. Also, when you are taking the skills portion of the exam make sure to act like you are really caring for a patient by greeting them & introducing yourself, explaining what you are going to do & providing for their privacy.
