First Year RN salary

Hi everyone, I'm in the nursing program at FSCJ (formerly FCCJ) in Jacksonville for my RN. I was wondering what everyone made at the hospitals in their first year around Jax or in FL in general? I keep getting different answers and I'm just really curious as to what I should expect. Do you get a lot of overtime or a decent signing bonus? I'm willing to work any shifts at any hospital, but preferably around Jax.

Thanks so much!

Default Re: First Year RN salary
I don't think any of the local hospitals are doing sign on bonuses anymore, and all the nurses I talk to get overtime almost every week. Hopefully the economy will be better by the time you graduate because I graduated from there in August and just passed my boards and still don't have a job. I have not heard any new grad making more than $23 an hr though.
