I really can't speak to the acceptance rates of the nursing program (I was a Health Care Management student) but I think you guys will be fine provided you have a 3.0. My FAMU experience was very different from the current community college (A.S.) nursing program I'm applying to. The programs didn't seem to be as competitive I would imagine because it's a bigger university with more instructor availability and is catered for the entry of African American students. I have heard that the program itself is quite challenging once you get in but I'm sure you guys will do great! Don't be easily distracted though. There are LOADS of distractions on "The Hill" so just remember your ultimate goal (RN, BSN).

Well, we will know if we got into famu in december. Someone I know who is on the program now and was in since January did not know she was accepted until decmber 24, 2008. So I'm guessing I have to wait around that time also which sucks for the wait ;(
