Anyone a new grad working at FLorida Hospital or Orlando Health?

I am very excited about this post. I haven't received my license yet but I am working on it. It's good to see such a great opportunity for new grads. I'm more than willing to relocate once I graduate for this opportunity. Good luck to all the new grads who already received positions.

Unfortunately, FH has a limited number of GN Internships at this time. I wish there were more. I'm sorry you couldn't get to it. They are posted online for only a short period of time. I recommend visiting the website and doing an RSS Feed or signing up for a Job Alert, which sends instant updates to your email so that you can apply for the GN Internships immediately. Also, about the Peds job postings, I know FH does require 1 year of recent experience for RN positions.

Hi Molly!
I've applied for every GN position Florida Hospital has opened in the last month. The last ones I applied were for Med Surg and Cardiac PACU ( Altamonte). They have not replied. Do you think I should call somebody? I went to the HR last week, but they didnt give me any real new info. I really wanted to start working soon. Its seems that you know a lot, so I thought maybe you could help me. Thank you so much!

Yes!!! I graduated From Valencia Community College. My GPA is 3.89. I passed my NCLEX already. Thank you so much for your willingness to help!!!
PS: Do you go to FBCO? Just curious, my friend told me she knew a Molly who worked at Florida Hospital and went to our Church....

I graduated from hawaii and was thinking of relocating to fl. I applied for many new grad positions but all of them replied they were filled. Am I at a disadvantage because I'm not from florida? I already have a florida license. In addition, i tried to go to linktoyourfuture.com and email them my questions but i never got a response from anyone and I even tried to call and left a message to the recruiter but had no luck. Someone please help, what should I do? Is there a better way to be looking for a job? Is there a hiring freeze in Florida as well? Please advise.

Bethalomew, Florida Hospital is not experiencing a hiring freeze, however, you must know that currently, there are limited GN positions available. The best advice is to keep applying for the GN positions on www.floridahospitalcareers.com. I hope you reach out to the recruiter again and keep in mind that they try to respond to every call/email as quickly as they can. Good luck!

Molly I am also a new GN, just passed my boards. I also applied and didnt hear back from HR and was wondering if you have a certain person I should contact. I am a grad from Lake Sumter Community College. I appreciate any help you can give me!!
