Anyone applying to the Basic BSN Program at UM Fall 2009??

Absolutely!!! Once I find out that I get accepted I am going to apply for the Nursing Scholarship. Are you in the Nursing program at the University of Miami??

Hey there is a forum for students starting UM's accelerated BSN program, but it starts in May... do you start in the fall?

Has anyone else heard from UM for Fall 2009? I'm still waiting and expected a decision by now... its driving me crazy!

I am still waiting too! I want to call but i was told by admissions not to bother till second week of april!! I am extremely impatient at this point! Let me know when you find out!!

Yep, I have called and emailed a couple of times with no response... so I wouldn't bother. I guess its just a waiting game at this point...

I got into Barry a couple weeks ago, so I paid my deposit there already so that way i would not lose it. But its refundable, I really wanna go to UM.

I am confused, I applied to the University of Miami Accelerated Nursing Program that starts in the Fall 2009. So they offer two different programs in the fall basic and accelerated???? Has anybody heard any news if they have been accepted to the accelerated program for fall?

I applied in December 2008...after much harrassment from my part I finally heard back in March...I got into the ABSN Fall 2009. Goodluck & keep us posted.

I applied for the Fall 2009 Regular BSN. I have the two math courses MGF1106 AND 1107 for the AA, but not MAC1105 (College Algebra) which is a pre-req, I called the school but they told me they had to first evaluate my transcripts and get back to me if anything. Do you think they will take these classes instead of MAC1105? or should I take MAC1105 over the summer. Does anyone know?
